چکیده
Introduction: To study the unfavorable outcomes and regression after neovascularization treatment for non-type 1 retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in a tertiary care facility Thailand. Methods: A retrospective was done all infants undergoing screening ROP at referral center between July 2018 June 2021 with follow-up 60 weeks postmenstrual ages (PMA). The measured were outcomes, including macula involving posterior retinal folds, detachment, retrolental cicatrix formation, or mass obscuring view pole, treatment. received (stage 3 ROP) within 72 h diagnosis. also compared type subgroups. Results: There 58 eyes 31 that included study. Of these eyes, 41 had ROP, 17 ROP. 92.68% treated stage zone II pre-plus disease 74.47% plus disease. mean gestational age birth weight enrolled 28.48 ± 1.99 1165.32 394.57 g, respectively. Unfavorable occurred three (17.65%) group, but there no group (p=0.022); laser indirect ophthalmoscopy (LIO) combined Intravitreal bevacizumab (IVB). LIO alone 100% regression, whereas IVT 82.35% regression. Progression without five (29.41%) progression (p=0.001). Conclusion: Neovascularization is useful preventing achieving neovascularization, especially diseases less severe than Moreover, can reduce

Asymmetric Outcomes of Type 1 Retinopathy of Prematurity after Bilateral Intravitreal Ranibizumab Treatment
Purpose. To present cases with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), who were treated with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab (IVR) and had unpredictable asymmetric outcomes. Methods. A retrospective review was performed in infants with type 1 ROP and had bilateral IVR (0.25 mg/0.025 mL) as initial treatment. Patients were classified into the asymmetric outcome group and the symmetric outcome gr...

OBJECTIVE To examine the frequency and timing of progression from type 2 to type 1 retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in the Early Treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity Study. METHODS Infants with prethreshold ROP that was no worse than low risk in 1 or both eyes, based on the RM-ROP2 model, were examined every 2 to 4 days for at least 2 weeks. Using the Early Treatment for Retinopathy of Pr...

PURPOSE To investigate the anatomical and refractive outcomes in patients with Type 1 retinopathy of prematurity in Zone I. METHODS The medical records of 101 eyes of 51 consecutive infants with Type 1 retinopathy of prematurity in Zone I were analyzed. Infants were treated by conventional laser photocoagulation (Group I), combined intravitreal bevacizumab injection and Zone I sparing laser (...
